so this is my most viewed and favoured piece, i should say a bit about it. the day i took the photo that this painting is based, it was out of the blue. i just noticed there were straw bales in the fields. Up to the 'high field' i went and saw bales all the way to the sea shore. so took a shot. we had a really lousy summer so this sunny day was exceptional even if it was late, 5th October. i was determined to do a really good, detailed foreground and i spent 3 months alone on the two bales and the foreground around them. I live in a paradise so this just reflects it.
