I hope you don't mind me asking you a question in regard of canvas and acrylic
Do you think it is okay to paint on canvas that does not have Gesso on it? What would happen if i paint w/ acrylics on canvas without gesso?

I always work on canvases that are prepared, pre-primed and ready for paint. I never get canvas and then prime it with gesso or other primers. I wouldn't know how to do it! My guess Mona, is that Gesso would allow a smoother finish then if it wasn't used. But I usually get boards in artshops that are ready for painting, it makes life easier! Have you been using plain canvas boards up til now or what?
well you know I am just experimenting and learning at the same time, so the acrylic works i did so far were on Paper Canvas
